It’s that time of year to get excited about Halloween! The Hollow Awakens at Lakewood Center, presented by Imaginarium, is an immersive haunted experience for all ages, like no other. An all-inclusive experience with tickets starting at $17; from purchasing tickets online to free parking, everything has been handled so you and your family or friends can enjoy every thrilling moment.

What to Expect
When you enter The Hollow Awakens, you’ll experience ten uniquely haunted worlds, indoor and outdoor attractions, and immersive experiences with a treasure hunt and special “mission map”. Journey through interactive courses and mirror rooms, encounter circus performers, enjoy trick or treating, photo ops, spooky snacks, cold beverages and more! Every experience is completely immersive, and you get to choose how scary your adventure is.
Is it too Scary for My Kids?
The Hollow Awakens has fun and thrills for all ages! Family fun is everywhere, and our outdoor area is perfect for the little ones, featuring an illuminated pumpkin patch, DIY activities, mirror rooms, photo boxes, ball pit, obstacle course, and our free live circus! One ticket gets you access to everything, and ages 2 and under are free. In short, outdoor and family areas are built for little kids, indoor scare rooms are parent’s call, and two zones are clearly marked ages 13+.
Hours, Duration and Best Times to Visit
The fun and scares are open on Wednesdays & Thursdays from 6-10pm, Fridays & Saturdays from 5-11pm, and Sundays from 5-10pm. We are closed to the public on Mondays & Tuesdays, but open for private events. Most guests enjoy the interactive experience for 90 to 120 minutes, and the last entry is 30-45 minutes before gates close. Re-entry is available same-day before gates close with a hand stamp, and for the shortest lines, we recommend visiting on Wednesdays or Thursdays.
Tickets and Discounts
For the best rates and experience, guests are encouraged to purchase tickets online in advance. Tickets are available at the door, but admission cannot be guaranteed. Tickets are non-refundable, but simply email us if you need to change the date for your visit. Discounts are available for children, seniors, and military by visiting our tickets page. Ages 2 and under are free.
What to Wear
Costumes are encouraged, so get into the spirit! Please refrain from wearing full face masks, which are not allowed inside the event area. Comfortable shoes and clothing are suggested to fully enjoy our walk-through indoor and outdoor attractions.
Parking and How to Find Us
Parking at Lakewood Center is easy and always free. Once you arrive at Lakewood Center (326 Lakewood Center Mall, Lakewood, CA 90712), drive around to the back / north side of the mall, the former Forever 21 end, and look for our clearly-lit lights, signs, and entrance.
Accessibility and Special Accommodations
Everyone is welcome at The Hollow Awakens. Wheelchairs are available for a $15 rental fee on a first-come basis. Strollers are welcome, and for any special needs, please contact us prior to your visit at imagine@imaginarium360.com and we will work to accommodate your needs to the best of our ability.
What Happens if it Rains?
In the case it does happen to rain, some of our outdoor attractions may close. Guests may choose to change their date of visit by emailing us, and in the rare chance we do have to close fully due to rain, we will email guests who have purchased for that day with an easy option to reschedule their date of visit.
