The Company Behind The Hollow
Bringing Joy to Guests Year-Round
“The Hollow Awakens” is the first-ever Halloween-themed event produced by the Imaginarium team, whose first-ever production was “Global Winter Wonderland” in 2011. That hugely successful inaugural experience at Great America Santa Clara, California, represented the first time a Chinese lantern festival had been brought to the United States. Started as a holiday light festival, Global Winter Wonderland was created by President and Founder Lulu Huang. It was sparked by Lulu’s joyful childhood memories of lantern festivals in China.
To this day, their flagship holiday event at Cal Expo in Sacramento remains the most successful in its history and is now dear to the heart of the Northern California community that surrounds it. It is clearly a holiday tradition.
Global Winter Wonderland and Imaginarium have now presented dozens of light festivals across the U.S., moving from Santa Clara to Atlanta; Las Vegas to San Diego; Phoenix to Los Angeles and many, many points in between. And they have operated year-round…not just during the holidays. Over the years, these events have become more than just awe-inspiring, family-friendly walk-through experiences featuring stunning exhibits and millions of lights and FREE entertainment. Immersive activities are now integrated into every event. Some venues include carnival rides and games, ball pits, and ice skating. Other venues incorporate opportunities to test your wit or physical agility. The events just get better and better.
It’s clear. No matter the theme or venue, the objective remains the same. Bring joy!
